SOFTLINE WINDOW SYSTEMS
Softline is a profile with large rounded edges that helps protect windows from the accumulation of water and dirt, while also improving the overall appearance of the products. In the manufacturing of wooden windows, we use Softline window systems IV-68, IV-78, IV-88, and IV-98.
ADVANTAGES
In Softline window systems, the corners of the sash and frame are joined with the largest radius, allowing the paint coating to adhere more securely to the surface of the frame, especially in areas exposed to increased moisture. The glazing bead that holds the insulated glass unit is made without corners for better silicone penetration and sealing of the glass. A special profile eliminates gaps where it meets the sash. Additionally, a U-shaped profiling is applied around the entire perimeter of the inner surface of the sash to combat residual moisture during use in rain and snow.
GLUED LAMINATED TIMBER
The company Domberg uses multilayer glued laminated timber for the production of wooden windows: – We use carefully selected glued laminated timber with a moisture content within 12 ± 2%, in accordance with the requirements of the Rosenheim Institute (Germany); – Glued laminated timber ensures compliance with the international bonding quality standard DIN EN 204, water resistance class — D4; – The advantages of glued laminated timber include balancing the tension of the wood and preventing warping, twisting, and deformation of the finished product.
SLIDING WINDOW SYSTEMS
Domberg produces sliding window systems. The parallel-sliding Roto Patio Life system is considered the benchmark in terms of design, safety, and comfort. Distinctive features and advantages of this system include: – No need to lift large and heavy sashes for sliding on the mechanism; – It has a concealed threshold; – The possibility of making sashes wider than 3000 mm and weighing up to 300 kg; – The system’s anti-burglary protection is ensured along the entire perimeter of the sash, and ventilation can be performed in any position, even when closed.

PROTECTION FROM EXTERNAL FACTORS
External factors such as sun, wind, moisture, and temperature fluctuations place constant stress on the wood. To protect our windows from these factors and extend their service life, we use coatings from the company ADLER (Austria), which has developed the most advanced coating systems for premium-class wooden windows.
SOUND INSULATION
Our insulated glass units are specially designed to provide optimal sound insulation. Due to different distances between the middle and outer panes, sound insulation is significantly improved, as the middle pane does not resonate between the outer panes, unlike symmetrical division. This is especially noticeable in the low-frequency range, emitted by urban transport.
THERMAL INSULATION
If you’re looking for systems with better thermal insulation, Softline IV-78 is the best choice. With a profile width of 78 mm, it is 25% warmer than the IV-68 profile. This profile accommodates a double-glazed unit. It is recommended for all types of window openings.
WATER DRAINAGE AND MOISTURE PROTECTION
A drainage bar is installed at the bottom of the frame of each opening sash — a special aluminum profile by Gutmann with an additional drip edge (protecting the wood from intensive moisture exposure) and a third EPDM sealing contour. An aluminum drip cap is also installed on the sash part of the window. The outer sealing contour adjoins exclusively the wooden surface, not the aluminum profile, which prevents freezing and damage during the winter period.
CNC MACHINE
Manufacturing is done on a CNC machine, which guarantees the perfect geometry of our products and the quality of detail processing.
